Pre-leaving update

His name is Wally!!! If you are one of those people that need full names whenever possible, his name is: Wally Richard Mohler III. Don't ask me who W.R.M. Sr. and Jr. are, because I have no idea. lol! I will post a picture once I can find the camera. Where is that darn camera..?

Introduction

My maternal grandfather (Opa) used to have a "vacation hat". Whenever they went on vacation, they would get all packed up, loaded up, and finally drive down to the beach or wherever they were headed. When they got there, Opa would get out of the car, slap his vacation hat on his head and announce "NOW we're on vacation!"

Opa had lost his hat for who-know-how-long (I had never seen it in person). He just recently found it, in time for our family vacation-reunion-trip-thingy to Pipestem. This morning on our way out, i took his hat, and decided I wanted to wear it. WELL, he decided to let me use it for our trip to Colombia, so long as I promised not to lose it. Needless to say, I promised, and he let me have it.

Now to describe this hat! It is a baseball cap. It is red with medium-sized white polka dots (reminds me and Mitch of Minnie Mouse), and has a bunch of stains, on account of it never having been washed. Ew.

So I have decided to give this hat a name and personality (quite like Oscar). So far, I have decided that:
he is a boy,
and he will go everywhere (even if he can't be on my head).

The only dilemna is that I don't have a name for him! *gasp* So, I need help with that. I will post a picture tomorrow, to help inspire people. I will also post at least one picture per day of him on the blog, and he will have his own album on Facebook.

I'm quite excited! lol.
